Return Policy

**Any purchase with 15% or more off is FINAL SALE and items marked FINAL SALE are not eligible for return.

Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned in the original packaging with hangtags attached.

Socks, underwear, swimwear, headwear, are Final Sale for hygienic reasons.


Regular priced purchases made after Tuesday, Nov. 28th we have extended our standard return & exchange policy until Jan. 12, 2024 to better accommodate your needs. You will be able to return for a Store Gift Card amount.  We will not be able to issue a refund.

Please note we will not accept returns during December 26th Boxing Day sale.

We do not have Free Returns. Customers will need to ship the return back to complete the process.


Returns are easy!  We ask that the return is initiated within 7 days and is accompanied by a receipt. The product has to include all original packaging and be in brand new unworn condition. We ask that you give us a call at 587.802.5440 during store hours or send us an email at info@altashop.ca to let us know you're making a return. Once we've received your returned item in new and unworn condition we will refund your credit card for the total cost of the item purchased excluding shipping

We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen goods once your package has been delivered.  Please make sure to make proper arrangements to receive your package.

All orders placed on Fri-Sun will be shipped out the Tuesday Morning.


Incorrect Address: Alta is not responsible for return shipping if the customer enters the wrong shipping address during checkout. Please make sure you include your COMPLETE address when entering it in the checkout process. This includes your apartment number and correct postal code.

Lost Shipments: Alta is not responsible for any lost shipments. We recommend making sure you have a tracking number and insurance to minimize any potential problems, however rare. Once parcels are collected from our shop they are then property of Canada Post. Alta is legally not responsible for lost or damaged goods. Please ensure shipping confirmation details are kept securely in case further investigation is required.Orders received before will usually ship out the same day (and on the first business day following weekends and holidays). 

Sales on all discounted items are FINAL and cannot be returned or exchanged. 

Shipping charges for returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.*Any duties charged on returned items will be deducted from the invoice amount. Any returns/exchanges must be made within 7 days of delivery/attempted delivery by Canada Post. Items must be in unworn/unwashed condition with all original hang tags attached and unmodified. Items without original tags will not be accepted.

We do not accept returns from the USA with service from UPS. 

Alta is not responsible for any and all Customs and Brokerage Fees.

Shipments outside Canada may be subject to delays at Customs and Customs and/or Brokerage fees when delivered.

In the event that the Customs and Brokerage Fees are NOT paid for by the customer, the package will be considered abandoned and the customer will forfeit any possibility of a refund.


At the moment we are not shipping to International Destinations. Sorry.
